Terms of Service

Mnemos is a read-only commerce-operations agent. It connects to systems you authorise, reads them, answers questions about your operation, watches for changes you asked about, records facts your team gives it, and produces a weekly review. It does not make changes in your systems and holds no write access to do so.

Mnemos produces analysis, not advice. Its answers are generated from your data and can be wrong — data can be stale, a connector can lag, and a model can misinterpret. Every answer carries the records it was drawn from so you can check it. You are responsible for the decisions you make.

You need an account to use Mnemos, created either through the Shopify App Store or directly. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for the people you invite into your workspace, and for keeping access credentials and API keys secure. Tell us at support@mnemos.ai if you believe an account has been compromised.

You keep all rights in the data Mnemos reads and in anything you put into your workspace. You grant us only the licence needed to run the service for you: to read, store, process and display that data inside your workspace, including sending relevant records to AI model providers acting on our behalf to produce answers. We do not use your commerce data to train general models or to serve other customers. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

You must have the right to connect the systems you connect, and to let Mnemos read what is in them.

You agree not to:

• Connect systems you are not authorised to access, or use Mnemos to read data you have no right to read.
• Resell, sublicense, or provide the service to third parties as your own product.
• Attempt to circumvent workspace isolation, rate limits, credit metering, or authentication.
• Reverse engineer the service, or use it to build a competing product from its outputs.
• Use the service to break the law, or in a way that harms the service or other customers.

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and include a monthly allowance of credits. Roughly, one credit is one answer; heavier work such as a weekly review costs several. Watching the operation between reviews is not metered. Unused credits do not carry over. Credit packs are one-time purchases that are consumed after your monthly allowance.

Paid plans begin with a 14-day trial. If you installed Mnemos from the Shopify App Store, charges are made through Shopify's billing system, appear on your Shopify invoice, and are cancelled through Shopify. If you signed up directly, charges are made to your card on file through our payment processor and are cancelled from your workspace. Fees are exclusive of taxes. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable; cancelling stops the next renewal rather than refunding the current period.

We may change prices. If we do, we will give at least 30 days' notice before the change applies to your workspace, and you may cancel before it takes effect.

We aim to keep Mnemos available and correct, and we will tell you about planned maintenance that affects you. The service is provided as-is and as-available: we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular answer will be accurate. We may change or discontinue features; if we remove something material to your use, we will give notice.

To the fullest extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us for it in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You may stop using Mnemos at any time — uninstall the Shopify app, or cancel from your workspace. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that we are legally required to stop serving, or that is not paid for. On termination, access ends and we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy. You may export what you need before cancelling; ask us and we will help.

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about the service. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stands. Our not enforcing something is not a waiver of it. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it to a successor in a merger or sale of the business.

If we change these terms materially, we will update the date at the top and notify workspace owners by email before the change takes effect. Questions go to support@mnemos.ai.
